The Vic to present ‘Farndale Avenue’

The Victorian Players will present “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Production of Macbeth” for six weekend performances, beginning Friday.

Curtain times for the comedy, written by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr., are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 21 and 22; and 2 p.m. Sunday and Oct. 23. The theater is at 702 Mahoning Ave., near downtown Youngstown.

The women of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society attempt to tackle one of the bard’s most beloved plays in the hopes of advancing to the area drama finals. As with every endeavor these ladies undertake, from the moment the show begins, nothing goes according to plan.

The Vic’s production is directed by Nick Mulichak. The cast includes Nathan and Kathryn Skaggs, Heleena Huncik, Stephen Kountz, Marisa Keyshock, John Dalbec, Elizabeth Mulichak, Monica Beasley-Martin and Teresa Evans. Stage Manager is Elainie Huncik.
