KSU Trumbull to stage ‘On the Verge’

Kent State University Trumbull Theatre will open its season Friday with “On the Verge: Or, the Geography of Yearning” by Eric Overmyer.

Among the most imaginative works of the late 20th century, the play follows three Victorian lady travelers who seek to discern the mystery of things and discover the future. Magical wordplay and the world in a time-warp gives “On the Verge” its special flavor.

The play will be performed six times over two consecutive weekends. Curtain times are 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 21 and 22; and 3 p.m. Sunday and Oct. 23.
