The Children Mental Health Circle of Friends Foundation will host a “World Series of Wine” fundraiser to benefit children’s mental health programs of Alta Behavioral Health Care. It will take place at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road, and is sponsored Donald P. Pipino.
Local winemakers will submit homemade wines and those attending the event will choose the top six wines in the valley. A panel of expert wine judges will take the top six and select their choice for first place, $1,000; second, $500; and third, $250.
Complimentary commercial wines will be available for sampling. Dinner will be provided throughout the evening.
Sponsorship packages are available: gold sponsor, $3,000 for 12 tickets, full page ad in program book, logo on banner and recognition on all event announcements; silver sponsor, $1,000 for 8 tickets and one-half page ad in program book; and bronze sponsor, $500 for four tickets and one-quarter page ad in program book.
Tickets are $75 per person. Participants and attendees must be 21 years old or older.
Funds raised will be used to provide prevention, education and treatment services for children “at risk,” or suffering from behavioral and emotional disorders.
