The new action movie “The Accountant,” starring Ben Affleck, Anna Kendrick and J.K. Simmons, opens Friday in theaters. Here are five facts about the film, from imdb.com:

v Do the math: Kendrick based her character on her mother, a real accountant who went over the script and explained the math to her daughter.

v Co-stars again: This is the second time Kendrick and Simmons have starred together. The previous film was Up in the Air (2009).

v Star appeal: The film cast includes two Oscar winners: Affleck and Simmons; and two Oscar nominees: Kendrick and John Lithgow.

Army Field Band, chorus in concert

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.

Westminster College will host the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus in a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in Orr Auditorium.

The 65-member band and 29-member chorus perform in both concert halls and small-town auditoriums. Their program ranges from orchestral masterworks and operatic arias to Sousa marches, jazz classics and Broadway musicals.
