“Divorce” (10 p.m., HBO): Twelve years after “Sex and the City” ended its cable TV run, Sarah Jessica Parker returns to prime time in this dark comedy about domestic distress. Parker plays Frances, a wife and mother of two, who after more than a decade of marriage tells her stunned husband (Thomas Haden Church) that she wants more out of life. But the couple soon learns that making a clean break isn’t so easy. The cast also includes Molly Shannon.
“Insecure” (10:30 P.M., HBO): Issa Rae makes a triumphant television debut in the hilarious comedy “Insecure.” She plays a charmingly awkward woman in her late 20s who is striving to make bolder choices when it comes to her life and relationship. Lots of laughs ensue.

Halloween party at Sutliff Museum

Children and adults are invited to a Victorian Halloween Party from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the Sutliff Museum, on the second floor of the Warren public library, 444 Mahoning Ave.
Guests will learn about how the Victorians celebrated Halloween and the origins of trick or treating. Entertainment will include tours, Halloween ghost stories, scavenger hunt, crafts and refreshments. Costumes are encouraged. For information, call 330-395-6575 or go to sutliffmuseum.org.
Night at the Races benefits dog groups
