Literary society event will feature author

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Library Literary Society will host a fundraising lecture Oct. 20 at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Ave. The event features C. J. Box, New York Times best-selling author of 21 novels, including the Joe Pickett series. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a cocktail and appetizer reception and the lecture will be at 7. Tickets are $70 and include membership in the society and an autographed book.
