The Commons at Greenbriar hosted a benefit concert on Sept. 15 for Deanna in the Make-A-Wish program to send her to the Florida Theme Parks.

Tickets for the concert were $5 and included refreshments and entry into a raffle. All of the baskets for the 50/50 and basket raffle were donated from local businesses. The proceeds raised during the event will benefit Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana to help send Deanna to the Florida Theme Parks.

The musical duo, Party of Two, provided music under the gazebo for the guests who attended. The duo featured Katelyn DeLadurantey and Joe Richley. The evening was filled with music, friends and families and all for a good cause. Many of the residents at Greenbriar came outside to enjoy the music, refreshments and entered for a chance to win a raffle basket.

“We had a nice night for it, it’s not raining like it was last night,” said Jennifer Roberts, Director of Publish Relations for the Commons at Greenbriar.

With the benefit concert being outdoors, the nice weather brought in more people. Tickets could be purchased before the event or the day of.

As the night went on, more people showed up to support the cause. At the end of the night, all of the money will be counted and then donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
