There are no local appearances by the presidential candidates or their surrogates scheduled for this weekend. Here’s what’s happening next week.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton returns Monday to Ohio after last being in the state Sept. 5. In an address in Toledo, Clinton will lay out her economic plans. At an Ohio Democratic Party voter registration event in Akron, Clinton will remind voters they have just eight days left to register to vote.

Former President Bill Clinton, her husband, will be in the Mahoning Valley next week as part of a Tuesday-Wednesday bus tour through eastern Ohio. The campaign says he will be in the Valley during the tour, but didn’t give specifics on his appearance. Local Democrats expect him here Wednesday.
