“Ed sullivan’s rock and roll classics — the 60s” (8 p.m., pbs): A special of classic song performances spanning the years 1963-1968.

“Incorporated” (10 p.m., Syfy): “Incorporated” is a thriller set in a near future where a small group of companies with unlimited power essentially control the world. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are among the show’s executive producers.

Packard Band Christmas concert

WARREN

The Packard Band will present its “Christmas Spectacular” concert at 2 p.m. Sunday at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. Admission is free.

Jesse Leyva, director of bands at Kent State University, will lead the band in a variety of Christmas songs. Dancers from D.C. Dancers, Jill’s Danceshop, Jeannette’s School of Dance, James Dance Center and the Jordan School of Ballet, plus the Lincoln School Eighth Grade Band will be spotlighted.

Vocalists will Dana Victor and Cortney MacKay. Bradley J. Holko will be the master of ceremonies and Wendell Lauth will present Visual Images of Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance and present treats to the children as they visit after the concert.

More than 3,000 area students will attend two performances of the show on Friday.

‘Messiah’ sing will be open to everyone

YOUNGSTOWN

Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road in Cornersburg, is hosting a community sing of “Messiah” at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Singers of all levels are invited to participate in the performance of the beautiful oratorio by George F. Handel. Admission is free to participants and audience.

Singers are asked to bring a copy of the score. A limited number will be available for a $10 deposit. For information, call the church at 330-792-4046.
