‘Santa Conquers Martians’ play

WARREN

Kent State University at Trumbull Theater will present Mark Landon Smith’s “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and also Dec. 9-10, and 3 p.m. Dec. 4 and 11, in the campus theater, at 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW.

It is directed by Jim Canacci. Tickets are $10 ($8 for seniors and students, and $6 for children under age 12).

The play follows the children of Mars, who have become distracted from too much Earth television. It’s up to young Betty and Billy to help Santa escape back to Earth in time to save Christmas. But first they must bring laughter, joy and the Christmas spirit to the children of Mars.

Attendees are invited to take pictures with Santa before each show.
