Breakfast with Santa proceeds will benefit children's hospital

Breakfast with Santa will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St. It will feature a breakfast buffet, visits with Santa, a mascot parade, craft and activity stations, face painting, singing and dancing and a chance auction.

Each child will receive a special gift. Cameras are welcome for personal photos with mascots and other entertainers. Scrappy from the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Pete the Penguin from Youngstown State University, Boomer from Youngstown Phantoms, Pete Za Hut, Chuck E. Cheese, the Aut Mori Grotto clowns and more will attend.

JoAnn Stock, senior director of development for Akron Children’s Hospital, explains this is a good opportunity to support programs and services of the children’s hospital and it’s a great way to kick off the holidays.

Corporate sponsors can create a special memory for less fortunate families by allowing them to experience the event at no cost.

The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children.
