Kennedy Fullum and Taylor Hall each scored 12 to pace the Clippers (1-0). Mariah Rovnak added 11 points in the win as well. Alexis Cross hit two three-pointers in the win. Alexis Hughes led the Blue Devils (0-1) with 11 points.

Lisbon 62, United 39

HANOVERTON

Karli Pezzano had 12 points to lead Lisbon (1-0) while Izzy Perez added 11 points and Autumn Oehlstrom tallied 10 points. Oehlstrom led the team with nine rebounds while Pezzano grabbed eight rebounds, dished out five assists and collected five steals. Hannah Mix led United (0-1) with 11 points.

Howland 38, Lakeview 34

HOWLAND

Howland (1-0) went 9-0 run in the third quarter to pull ahead for good. Sara Price led the Tigers with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists and Mackenzie Maze added 11 points and six rebounds. Annie Pavlansky had a game-high 19 points for Lakeview (0-1).

Leetonia 38, East Palestine 9

LEETONIA

A combined 15 shots were made by both teams. Leetonia’s (1-0) Kristy Eckman put up a double double of 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sadie Walker paced East Palestine (0-1) with three points. The Bulldogs shot 2-43 from the floor.

Ursuline 55, Madison 41

HOWLAND

Dayshanette Harris scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists in a season-opening win for the Irish (1-0). Anyah Curd picked up a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Lindsay Bell grabbed 11 rebounds in the win. Sheyenne Ledford had 10 points for Madison.

McDonald 48, Springfield 37

MCDONALD

Sam Homa scored 14 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in McDonald’s (1-0) win. Britney Smith scored 10 points while Abbie Matig scored eight points and grabbed 11 boards. Haley LaMorticella scored 13 points to lead the Tigers (0-1).
