GENEVA, OHIO

The Lodge at Geneva overlooking Lake Erie was the setting of the 5 p.m. ceremony Oct. 1 of Courtney Marie Detwiler and Todd Stasko. It was officiated by Albert Palombaro. A reception followed at the lodge.

Donna and Jerry Detwiler of North Lima are the parents of the bride, and Amy Shultz of Athens, Ohio, is the mother of the groom.

The couple traveled to Hawaii for their honeymoon, and reside in Heath, Ohio.

The bride wore an ivory brocade strapless A-line gown with a matching beaded sash.

Rebecca Spooner Korwin was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Thompson, Rae Anne Wetzel and Mary Slauter. The attendants wore black dresses.

The bride’s nieces, Sophie and Evie Detwiler, were flower girls.

Cory Langford performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Collins, and Ryan Detwiler, Aaron Detwiler and Dan Detwiler, brothers of the bride. Danny Detwiler, a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Detwiler-Stasko graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is director of corporate quality for State Industrial Products in Heath.

Mr. Stasko is studying internet technology at the University of Southern New Hampshire. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in Iraq, Korea and Japan.
