Fellows Riverside Gardens hosted a pumpkin carving event on Oct. 13-15 to prepare for the Pumpkin Walk at Twilight.
Families had the opportunity to carve pumpkins however they liked at Fellows Riverside Gardens. There were pumpkins carved with initials, names, animals, different faces and several other creative designs.
The event was free for families and each person got their own pumpkin.
The staff at Fellows Riverside Gardens placed the pumpkins in front of the building leading to the gardens where multiple pumpkins were placed along pathways, the fountains and benches. The pumpkins lit the way for the Pumpkin Walk at Twilight the facility was preparing for.
People were able to come to the Gardens that Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. to pick a pumpkin and start carving. Several people who attended have made it a tradition and come every year with their family and friends. The event is geared toward making it a family-oriented project.
The Pumpkin Walk at Twilight will be hosted on Oct. 16 at Fellows Riverside Gardens and will provide live entertaining and other children’s activities.
