American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at noon Dec. 3 at V2 Wine Bar Trattoria, 100 Federal Plaza, Youngstown. Hubbard Friends of the Library will meet Monday in the main library meeting room, 436 W. Liberty St. A social time at 6 p.m. will precede a business meeting. This will be the last meeting of the year. An Americorp representative will be the speaker. There will be a “get to know you better” game, a book sale report and input for next year’s sale. Diabetes Partnership of the Mahoning Valley will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Stonebridge Grill in Boardman. This is the last meeting of 2016. November is Diabetes Awareness Month and among other items to be discussed will be the presentation to Midlothian Free Health Clinic.
NAMI Mahoning Valley offers support groups for those who deal with mental illness. Family support groupmeetings take place the first Thursday of each month in Trumbull County at 11 a.m. at the Girard Library, 105 E. Prospect St., and on the second Tuesday of each month in Mahoning County at 7 p.m. at the Alta Care Group, 142 Javit Court, Austintown. Connection support group meetings for individuals with a mental health diagnosis take place at 1:30 p.m. each Thursday at the Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, and at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the Alta Care.
