SENIOR CITIZENS


Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Hostesses for the Thanksgiving themed meeting will be Dora Cercone, Helen Kaplon and Joanne Pasquale. Lunch will be served at noon followed by bingo and card games. PERI, Mahoning County Chapter 18, will have its annual Christmas meeting and sit-down dinner at noon Dec. 6 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 5578 Market St., Boardman. The menu consists of breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables, garden salad, rolls with butter, coffee, tea or soft drink and hot fudge sundaes. Retired Nurses Interest Group will meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 29 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield. A representative from the Butler Art Museum will speak on its history and collections. Newly retired nurses are welcome. The Christmas luncheon will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 20 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield, with reservations due Dec. 12 to Lee Kovalan. The cost is $17 per person and checks go to Mrs. Kovalan, 530 N.
