Pannozzoes mark 50th with family dinner

Frank and Patricia Pannozzo of Boardman were honored for their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner at the Holiday Inn.

The former Patricia Garone married Mr. Pannozzo Oct. 8, 1956, at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.

Their daughter is Gina M. Pannozzo and twin grandchildren are Rocky and Trinity Sewruk.

Mr. Pannozzo retired from Jones and Laughlin in 1982 when the steel mills closed. He also worked at Boardman United Methodist Church, Southern Park Mall and Northside Medical Center, retiring in 2001. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and served during the Korean War.

Mrs. Pannozzo worked in the billing department of Republic Steel, retiring in 1970. She also worked for Mahoning County Job and Family Services, retiring in 2000.

The couple are members of Boardman UMC. A family cruise is planned in 2017.
