Catholic Charities plans pop-up boutique

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Youngstown, will host a Sip & Shop Pop-Up Boutique from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 29, “Giving Tuesday,” in St. Columba Cathedral hall, 154 W. Wood St. “Giving Tuesday” refers to the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and begins the charitable season, when many people focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Parking is available at the corner of 144 W. Wood and 225 Elm streets, look for the signs.

The Sip & Shop provides an opportunity for guests to create their own hot beverage at a gourmet coffee bar and jump start their Christmas shopping while supporting Catholic Charities and local artisans and vendors. Items available for purchase include bath and body products, Christmas cookies, holiday decorations, Fair Trade goods, fresh baked goods and handmade bracelets.

All proceeds help provide emergency assistance for food, shelter, clothing, utilities and essential medication to families served by Catholic Charities’ agencies throughout the Diocese.
