Rebecca A. Hamel married Anthony J. LaPresta on Sept. 10 on the coast of Rockport, Maine. The ceremony was officiated by Catherine Juskuv, and an outdoor reception followed at Oakland Seashore Resort.

The bride is the daughter of Colleen Bishop of Attleboro, Mass., and Dan Hamel of Slatersville, RI. She is retaining her maiden name. The groom is the son of John and Patty LaPresta of Hubbard, who hosted a cocktail party in the couple’s honor on Oct. 9 in the Garden Cafe at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill CreekPark, Youngstown.

The bride wore a knee-length ivory dress with cap sleeves and a structured bodice. The tulle skirt was topped with a shear overlay. Embroidered larkspur flowers adorned the bodice and hemline.

The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art history from University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. She works for Skinner Auction House in Marlborough, Mass.

Mr. LaPresta attended Youngstown State University and earned an audio engineering certification from the Los Angeles Recording School in Los Angeles, Calif. He is a freelance audio engineer and also is employed by the Skinner Auction House.

After a wedding trip to Burlington, Vt., and upstate New York, the couple reside in Boylston, Mass.
