Michele Awad, Joshua Morris to marry in May

Dr. Mounir and Linda Awad of Canfield are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Michele Awad of Canfield, to Joshua Morris of Kinsman. The prospective groom is the son of Gordon and Monica Morris of Kinsman.

The couple are planning the ceremony for May 20, 2017, at St. Maron Church in Youngstown with a reception following at the Maronite Center. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Awad graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is attending the school of veterinary medicine at Ohio State University and is projected to graduate with a doctor of veterinary medicine degree in May 2018.

Mr. Morris graduated magna cum laude from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in Ohio and is a supervisor for Novogradac & Company LLP in Columbus. He specializes in new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits and renewable energy credits.
