Schools give thanks

The Boardman Board of Education, the administration and the school staff want to let voters know that the schools appreciate their support. A combined renewal levy on this year’s ballot not only passed, but did so by nearly 4,000 votes, a 60 percent voter approval. The 5.5-mill renewal levy will continue to bring in approximately $4.6 million per year for the district for the next 10 years. The renewal levy does not change the tax rate, meaning no additional taxes for residents.
