Second day of testimony begins in Savage murder trial

YOUNGSTOWN

The second day of testimony in the aggravated murder trial of Leonard Savage, 22, is underway in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Savage is one of three men accused of the Nov. 14, 2015, murder of Thomas Owens, 33, of Burbank Avenue. Owens was shot and killed as he sat in a parked car on West Myrtle Avenue.

A jury was seated Wednesday before Judge Lou D'Apolito.
