Man being treated for OD on South Side leads police on chase

YOUNGSTOWN — A man being treated for an overdose on East Lucius Avenue today ran out of an ambulance as paramedics were treating him and led officers on a foot chase to a home in the first block of East Avondale Avenue, where he was caught by police.

The man was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital on a police hold.

He has several warrants, police said. He has not been identified.
