SEBRING

Two men will be arraigned Thursday in Mahoning County Area Court in Sebring involving separate domestic-violence incidents last week.

Robert Halatek, 55, was arrested about 1:45 a.m. Nov. 11 at a home in the 11000 block of North Palmyra Road in North Jackson after a family member said he had a gun and threatened to kill her.

Deputies with the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office found a gun on the couch and took Halatek into custody without incident. Reports said Halatek also has warrants for two counts of operating a vehicle impaired and two other traffic charges.

About 5:45 p.m. Nov. 10, Ted King, 51, was arrested on a domestic-violence charge at his home in the 4000 block of Bedell Road in Berlin Center after his wife said he poked her in the eye and threw her to the ground during an argument.

He posted bond but was rearrested about 8:45 a.m. Nov. 11 after reports said he was back at his home despite having a no-contact order. He was arrested on a felony charge of criminal trespassing.

Both men are in the Mahoning County jail awaiting their arraignment.
