Business Model Basics: 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the first floor of the Youngstown Business Incubator, an introductory level workshop that teaches the basics of the business model and how to use it to develop the best model for your new business venture.
WEDNESDAY
Women in Entrepreneurship Panel: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in Room 3423 at the Williamson College of Business. Local women entrepreneurs will come together to share their experiences about being a female entrepreneur. Panelists: Marissa Devantier – The Shop on Liberty Street, Bergen Giordani – One Hot Cookie, Carmella Williams – Carmella Marie, and Katie Phibbs – The Lettuce People / Lettuce Do Good.
Tech Startup Panel: 3 to 4 p.m. in Room No. 3423 at the WCBA. Take some time to learn what it takes to be a tech entrepreneur, what are the obstacles and the benefits. Panelists: Erin Quinlan – Valley Energy Solar, Joe Angelo - director of Entrepreneurship, YSU, and Kipp Krukowski - Equipment Appraisal Services.
3-D Printing 101: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Room No. 2201 at the WCBA. Learn about the history, current state and future of the 3-D printing industry. Operate desktop 3-D printers, design custom parts, and print creations.
THURSDAY
DittoTalk Demo: Noon to 1 p.m. on the first floor of YBI. YBI portfolio company DittoTalk will provide a hands-on interactive demo of its presentation software.
Small Business Resource Alliance Seminar: 2 to 4 p.m. in Room 3418 at the WCBA. Attendees will have the chance to talk to people who can help them navigate all the steps of having a business.
Social Entrepreneurship: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the first floor of YBI. Gianna Centofanti from YBI explores the benefits of being a social enterprise. Topics of discussion will include benefit corporations, examples of social good companies, and how you can implement these practices into your business.
