Poland girl will be on ‘Chicago Fire’

Isabella Palowitz of Poland (stage name: Bella Palo) will appear in Tuesday’s episode of the NBC action-drama “Chicago Fire.”

The 15-year-old has a guest role as an “adorable” teenage girl and is in two scenes. She is the daughter of Rob and Crissa Palowitz, and is a sophomore at Ursuline High School, where she is an honors student.

“Chicago Fire,” which is in its fifth season, is an hourlong series that is set in a Chicago firehouse. Filming takes place in that city.

The title of Tuesday’s episode, which airs at 10 p.m., is “I Held Her Hand.”

Isabella’s national acting experience also includes a Sears TV commercial that aired this year.

YMCA seeks art for annual sale

The Davis Family YMCA on McClurg Road is accepting art donations through Jan. 15 for its FIVE Squared art show and sale, which will be Feb. 5-March 5. All art must be 5-by-5 inches and sturdy but lightweight. Last year, more than 200 people from around the world donated 600 pieces of art. Proceeds fund ARTreach programs for underserved children and teens.
