GARDEN CLUBS


TUESDAY

Girard Herb Society will meet at 1 p.m. at Barnhisel House in Girard to decorate the museum.

Trailwood Gardeners will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Poland Presbyterian Church for a bag lunch and a program on the “History of Poland.” Hostesses will be Kitty Heineman and Barbara Schrock.

WEDNESDAY

St. Michael Garden Guild will present an evening with Thomas Welsh, author and historian, at 7 p.m. at the Family Life Center at the church in Canfield. Attendees will have the opportunity to win his autographed book, “Classic Restaurants of Youngstown.” The program is free, and hostesses will be Mag Mitchell and Debbie Sulenski. All are welcome. THURSDAY

Coitsville will meet at 1 p.m. at the Tyler History Center on Federal Street in downtown Youngstown. “Great Women of the Mahoning Valley” will be discussed, and the hostess will be Helen Scharrer.

Johnny Appleseed will meet at 7 p.m. at St. James Church on Glenwood Avenue in Boardman to make a paper-card craft. Paula Ulicny is planning the program, Karen Hahn is co-hostess and Peggy Potts will provide the door prize.

SATURDAY

Sunflower will meet at 1 p.m. The topic is flower arranging.
