Dueling Pianos party

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a Dueling Pianos holiday party at W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave., on Dec. 9. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the dueling pianos live music from 8 to 11 p.m.

Business survey

YOUNGSTOWN

The Federal Reserve System is conducting a survey of current and pre-start stage small-business owners/managers. This survey is a platform through which small businesses can be heard. It is designed to pick up on potential finance issues affecting small business and bring them to the attention of those who have the ability to make changes. Individual responses are confidential. Summary results will be shared with you and will be used to brief policymakers.

Networking group to have meeting

WARREN

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have the first meeting of Trumbull County Chamber Connects, a networking group, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Mocha House, 467 High St. NE. The group will meet every other Tuesday to network with other chamber members, share opportunities and develop relationships.

VAST luncheon

WARREN

The Valley Alliance for Science and Technology, VAST, will have a November luncheon with Adam Keck, founder of Modern Methods Brewing, from noon to 1:15 p.m. Friday at the Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center, 125 W. Market St.

Keck will discuss the process and technology of craft brewing. Keck’s new sustainable brewing company seeks to improve the processes to reduce or reuse waste and incorporate new technologies, while providing a truly enjoyable product.

The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network, MAGNET, will have a “Manufacturing Matters: Managing Global Political Risks” event from 8 to 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, 222 Market Ave. North.

Allegiant results

LAS VEGAS

Allegiant Travel Co., the only commercial airliner in operation at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport, recently reported its October service results.

For scheduled service, the airline saw an 18.5 percent increase in passengers from 724,562 reported in October 2015 to 858,531 reported in October 2016.

For the total system, the airline saw a 17.9 percent increase in passengers from 743,443 to 876,713.
