Community Legal Aid joins Giving Tuesday

Community Legal Aid has joined Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving later this month that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

This year, Legal Aid has joined the movement through its end-of-the-year campaign, #BeTheChange.

Legal Aid, a nonprofit law firm that serves the legal needs of low-income individuals and families in central and northeast Ohio, chose Giving Tuesday as a new way of exposing people to their mission and takes place annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, occurring this year Nov. 29.

This is the first year Legal Aid has participated, and the organization is encouraging people to get involved by donating and through social media.
