The man was taken to a local hospital. About 2,000 customers were without power for a time, including a portion of Elm Road.

Meanwhile, an assistant Warren fire chief spoke with a bewildered resident of the home, asking her if she had a place to stay.

The crash, which one man suggested occurred at a high speed, took place about 4:15 p.m.

No one in the home was injured.
