Boys basketball tickets go on sale
The Poland High School athletic department will be selling reserved seats for boys basketball starting on Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. to all current season ticket holders through Nov. 18. Season tickets open to the public will begin on Nov. 21, beginning at 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Stop in the athletic office if you have any questions regarding season tickets.
Mattress fundraiser
Poland High School athletics will be hosting its annual Mattress Fundraiser on Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The cafeteria will transform into a 20 or more bed showroom filled with all sizes and styles. Name brands like Simmons Beautyrest are available for up to 50 percent off retail prices. Watch for area yard signs and for the few lucky children who get to wear the “mattress suit” while promoting the sale to passersby.
Division first and second team athletes named
Several Poland athletes have been named first and second district teams. From first team, Jenna Jacobson, and from second team, Gina Ungaro and Zach Jacobson.
