Man indicted for string of burglaries

YOUNGSTOWN

A Mahoning County grand jury Thursday indicted a Struthers man involving a series of burglaries last month.

Michael Cornwell, 24, of Creed Street in Struthers, faces six counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, one count of breaking and entering, 10 counts of receiving stolen property and one count of illegal processing of drug documents.

An indictment says Cornwell is accused of breaking into houses in Struthers and Youngstown between Oct. 14 and Oct. 26 and taking a variety of items.

According to records at the county jail, Cornwell was booked into the jail Nov. 4 on a burglary charge by Struthers police.

The grand jury also indicted the following:

Lakisha Blackshear, 39, Lasalle Avenue, falsification and contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.

Thomas Boals, 27, West Oregon Avenue, Sebring, aggravated possession of drugs.

John D. Brandt, 48, Euclid Avenue, Boardman, domestic violence, intimidation and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Andrea Davidson, 42, Connecticut Avenue, receiving stolen property, falsification, possession of marijuana and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Norman Shields, 46, Spruce-dale Avenue, Rogers, possession of cocaine and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.

Rufus Barnett, 26, East Judson Avenue, possession of heroin.

Marlin Black, 23, Hanley Avenue, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Jose Diaz Jr., 42, Madison Avenue, receiving stolen property and failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Raymond Harrison, 58, East Earle Avenue, domestic violence and kidnapping.

Shawn Matsko, 25, New Castle Road, West Middlesex, Pa., aggravated possession of drugs.

Lionel Phillips Jr., 21, Fruit Street, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and stopping after accident.

Quentin Reynolds, 30, Kimmel Street, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, carrying concealed weapons and possession of marijuana with a forfeiture specification.

Amanda Wilhite, 33, Market Street, and Robert Hornbuckle, 27, East Ravenwood Avenue, aggravated burglary, attempted murder, felonious assault and felonious assault with repeat violent offender specifications.

Bryan Harris, 31, homeless, possession of heroin, aggravated possession of drugs, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia with forfeiture specifications and identity fraud.

Marvin E. Jones, 61, East Judson Avenue, felonious assault.

Hans Christian Lowe, 35, Akron-Canfield Road, Canfield, failure to notify change of address.

Duane R. Jackson, 35, South Pearl Street, failure to notify change of address.

Ceira Buckner, 28, Ferndale Avenue, and Markese Brown, 29, West Ravenwood, three counts receiving stolen property, three counts forgery and three counts of theft.

Katrina D. Harsch, 38, Northwest Boulevard Northwest, Warren, theft.

The grand jury indicted these people on charges of nonsupport of dependents:

Amory Dorsey, 36, Hillman Street.

Jerel Cutlip, 41, Alden Avenue, Alliance, two counts.
