Youngstown police cite Austintown woman for OVI

YOUNGSTOWN — Police cited an Austintown woman for operating a vehicle impaired this morning after reports said she flipped over a car she was driving in the 400 block of Idora Avenue on the South Side.

Reports said police called to the scene about 1 a.m. found Mesean E. Fletcher, 43, of Lexington Place standing with a group of people bleeding heavily from a cut on her head.

Reports said Fletcher told paramedics she had “five or six drinks” earlier in the evening. She submitted to a blood test at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and was cited for OVI there.
