Wine sampling, sale at Stambaugh

YOUNGSTOWN

Autumn Wine Affair, a wine sampling and sale, will take place Saturday at Stambaugh Auditorium. Guests can taste and purchase wines from eight regional wineries. Cheese platters will be sold to complement wine samples.

There will be two sessions – 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. – with a VIP option for both that includes an extra hour of sampling, a wine glass, a wine tote and a cheese platter. The VIP sessions start an hour before the general sessions. General admission includes two hours of sampling and a wine glass.

Tickets are $25 ($35 for VIP session). Advance tickets are advised but there will be general admission tickets available at the door. Go to ohiowines.org or call 440-466-4417. Tickets also are available at the Stambaugh box office, 1000 Fifth Ave.

Carson and Jarred piano duo show

SALEM

The piano duo of Carson and Jarred will perform Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. in the ballroom of the Salem Golf Club. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The event features nightclub-style seating with a cash bar. Suggested dress is holiday casual. Call 330-332-0346.

The duo’s fast-paced variety program features music from movies, Broadway and holiday favorites, mixed with comedy, audience participation and a visit from “Liberace.”
