THURSDAY

• Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will host a dine-in or drive-through roasted chicken dinner from 2:30 until 7 p.m. Dinners will feature a half-chicken, choice of potato, vegetable, coleslaw, bread and butter. A children’s menu is available. Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children. A family dinner option is available for $5 per person for a minimum of four people. Credit cards will be accepted.

• Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7. Drive up to the door, and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve your dinners. Leave your name, phone number, the number of dinners you want and approximate time you will arrive. A percentage of the profits is used for local mission projects.

• Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m., or until sold out. Cost is $7, which includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Pepperoni rolls are available for $2. To reserve your dinner or rolls, call 330-792-5889 the day of the sale. No need to get out of your car; drive to the back of the church and your order will be taken to you.

• VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m., sponsored by the auxiliary. Prices are $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

• Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

• Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Phone orders may be made from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and beginning at 7 a.m. Friday at 330-755-1316. Orders can be picked up from noon to 2 p.m.

• Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.75. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

• Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday at the church hall. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Lowellville Rod and Gun Club will sponsor carryout ocean perch dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until sold out at the clubhouse, 6225 Quarry Road. • Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, will serve a turkey dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults, $8 for veterans and $5 for children 6 to 10. The menu consists of turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Takeouts also will be available. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $7 for a baker’s dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.

• St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.75 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

• St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

• Bessemer Presbyterian Church, 29 N. Main St., will serve a ham loaf dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12. Adult tickets are $10, ages 6 to 12 are $5 and 5 and under eat free. Eat-in or takeout. For tickets call the church office at 724-667-7255. Proceeds will benefit the church general fund.

• Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Fowler, will serve a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Menu consists of chicken pie, potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, beverage and dessert. • Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, will host an all-you-can-eat kielbasa and kraut dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Dessert is included. Adult tickets are $9.50, and kids tickets are $5.

Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Hall Ave., Hubbard, will sponsor its 49th annual pork and kraut supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with a new addition, barbecue pulled-pork sandwiches. Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under. Takeout is available. Proceeds from a youth bake sale will go to mission trips and youth gatherings.

• Ohltown United Church, 2001 Ohltown Road, will serve its annual turkey dinner and bake sale from 3 to 5 p.m. All dinners are carryout and cost $10. Enter through the handicap entrance. • Old Springfield Church, 11957 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, will serve its annual fall dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets at the door for the full turkey dinner with all the trimmings, dessert and beverage are $10 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 12; kids 3 and under are served for free. Carryouts will be available. There also will be a bake sale and silent auction from noon to 6:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will support the Springfield Local Wrestling Club.

• Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve a free pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Donations will be accepted; proceeds will be used for World Service projects. The church also will offer its Supper at the Corner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Nov. 17. Donations will be accepted to continue this program.

• St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will host its Second Saturday Supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The menu comprises haluski, kielbasa, vegetables, bread and butter, dessert and a beverage for $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. SUNDAY

• Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children. All carryouts are $7.50; containers are 75 cents or you can provide your own. The Vestibule Club will conduct a raffle during the dinner.

• First United Methodist Church of Columbiana, 210 S. Main St., is hosting a drive-through ham dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. • Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson, is taking orders for pumpkin-cherry-nut bread. The cost is $10 for a 11/2-pound loaf. Call 330-538-3351 by Monday to order. Pickup will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20.

• Croatian Home and Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, is selling stuffed cabbage for $25 per dozen and wedding soup, chicken noodle or beef-bean-barley soup for $6 per quart. • First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, will be selling chicken noodle soup, potato soup and spring noodle chicken soup for $5 a quart and $3 a pint, 15-inch pepperoni rolls for $8 each, bread for $2 a large loaf and $1.50 a small loaf and sticky buns for four for $2.50. • Holy Apostles Parish, St. Stephen of Hungary Church, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, is taking orders for a carryout-only stuffed cabbage sale.
