Second amendment freedom dinner set for Nov. 12

Mosquito Creek Second Amendment Freedom Dinner will take place Nov. 12 at Yankee Lake Ballroom, 1814 state Route 7. Social hour will begin at 5 p.m. and a buffet dinner will be served at 7. There will be games, raffles and free beer and pop.

Tickets are $25 each and must be ordered by Thursday. Tickets are available by calling Denny Malloy at 330-507-9489, White-Tails Unlimited National Headquarters at 800-274-5471, 330-847-6259, or online at www.whitetailsunlimited.com. Tickets also are available at Yankee Lake Carry Out or Autumn Addiction Archery on Route 5 in Cortland. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Purchase tickets by Saturday and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $100 Hunters Raffle Package. The hunters raffle package includes nine gun board raffle tickets, WTU gift, 30 bucket raffle tickets and WTU one-year membership. If purchased by Thursday, receive a $50 hunter’s raffle book (three gun board raffle tickets and 10 bucket raffle tickets) and a bonus gun ticket for an S&W M&P15 tactical rifle. The dinner ticket is not included in this package.

Donate $200 in cash or merchandise and receive a WTU eight-inch high resin cast sponsor buck and decal, two Freedom Dinner tickets and a sponsor only drawing for a WTU Life Membership. Purchase a $125 trophy buck package to receive a Freedom Dinner ticket, hunters raffle package and bonus gun ticket for a Patriot Rifle. Become a table captain by purchasing tickets for eight or more people and receive an entry in a table captain only gun drawing, seats reserved in your name, WTU cap and recognition as a special WTU guest.

WTU provides grants to local projects and activities that advance its mission. Proceeds from this event will benefit National Archery in schools programs and local conservation club activities.
