The Cubs score twice in the 10th to take an 8-6 lead.

The tarp is being pulled off the infield. Game/history should resume shortly.
11:54 p.m.
Rain returns to Progressive Field and the grounds crew has rolled out the tarp to cover the infield.
The Cubs and Indians are tied 6-6 in Game 7 of the World Series. ESPN's Pedro Gomez said this is the wildest Game 7 since the Diamondbacks rallied to beat the Yankees in the bottom of the ninth in 2001 and the Marlins defeated the Indians in 11 in 1997.
11:13 p.m.
The Cleveland Indians have scored three times in the eighth to tie Game 7 at 6-6.
After Cubs closer Chapman replaced Lester, Guyer doubled to score Ramirez.
Then Davis homered to left field to wipe out the Cubs' huge advantage.
10:57 p.m.
Cody Allen retires the Cubs in order in the top of the eighth inning.
Indians have six outs left to score three runs.
Lester remains on the mound for the Cubs.
10:20 p.m.
David Ross homers in the sixth to puts Cubs up 6-3.
The Indians strand a runner in their at-bat, are down to their last 9 outs to score 3. Cubs lead 6-3.
9:58 p.m.
They're not dead yet — the Indians chase Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks in the fifth inning. The combo of Jon Lester and catcher David Ross come on.
Kipnis' infield single is followed by Ross' wild throw that put Santana at third. A wild pitch bounced off Ross' mask far enough to allow Santana and Kipnis to score to slice the Cubs' lead to 5-3 going to sixth.
9:42 p.m.
Progressive Field stunned as Cubs extend lead to 5-1 in the fifth. Baez led off with a homer and Rizzo hit a two-out double to score Zobrist from first for a 5-1 lead.
Tribe down to 15 outs to score at least four.
9:15 p.m.
The Cubs score twice in the fourth inning for a 3-1 lead. Bryant singled and Rizzo was hit by a Kluber pitch. After Zobrist hit into a fielder's choice, Russell hit a flyball to shallow center.
Davis' throw to the plate sailed, allowing Bryant to score. Contreras doubled to score Zobrist for the two-run lead.
8:50 p.m.
After Coco Crisp doubled, Perez sacrificed him to third and he scored in Carlos Santana's hit to tie game at 1-1 in third inning.
8:40 p.m.
In their second at-bat, Ramirez singled but was picked off at first base by Hendricks. Chisenhall singled but the inning ended when Davis hit into a double play.
In the third, Schwarber singled to right with two outs but was thrown out trying to stretch it into a double.
Cubs lead 1-0.
8:19 p.m.
Indians strand Lindor at first. After one, Cubs lead 1-0.
8:12 p.m.
Dexter Fowler hits Kluber's fourth pitch over centerfield wall for a 1-0 lead. After Schwarber beat out an infield single, Kluber retires next three batters on flyballs.
7:35 p.m.
It's 25 minutes to the first pitch and the fans are buzzing with nervous energy because a major sports drought is about to turn to reign.
Cubs manager Joe Maddon said starter Kyle Hendricks should be good for "90 to 100" pitches.
Last night's winner Jake Arrieta said he's available. Maddon said Game 5 starter Jon Lester could go in, but only with no one on base. Lester has "issues" throwing to first.
The Indians bullpen is lined up as well as could be: Bryan Shaw, Andrew Miller and Cody Allen are fully rested.

Poland's John Hirschbeck will umpire second base for the final game of his 34-year career.
Hirschbeck said he's ready for retirement.
“I'm still trying to wrap my arms around finishing” with a World Series Game 7, he said. "I've been so fortunate throughout my career."
Hirschbeck is the umpire crew chief. This is is fifth World Series.
6:15 p.m.
The Cubs are going with the same lineup that Joe Maddon used in Tuesday's 9-3 victory in Game 6. That means Kyle Schwarber will be batting in the first inning.
Rookie Tyler Naquin is not in the Indians' lineup as Rajai Davis gets the start in center field.
In Tuesday's loss, Naquin and right fielder Lonnie Chisenahll had communication issues on flyballs to right- center field. The first one resulted ina ball that fell between them that gave Addison Russell a two-run double and the Cubs 3-0 lead in the first inning.
Manager Terry Francona said Chisenhall should have yielded to the rookie when the ball was in the air.
Chisenhall is batting sixth with a batting average of .071.
