Salem woman faces drug charges after bathroom arrest

CANFIELD TOWNSHIP — Deputies with the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Salem woman early Saturday morning in the bathroom of a U.S. 224 gas station after employees reported erratic behavior.

Jamie Ingledue, 34, of Salem is in the Mahoning County jail on charges of possession of heroin and child endangering.

Reports said deputies and a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol were called about 4:15 a.m. Saturday to Sheetz, 4585 Boardman-Canfield Road, after an employee said a woman went into the restroom with a small child and had been in there for over an hour.

Ingledue was found in the bathroom with a 2-year-old child, who appeared to be filthy and had no shoes, reports said. A dose of heroin was found in her purse, reports said.

A relative came to take custody of the child, reports said.
