Boardman High School jazz concert is Friday at the high school


BOARDMAN — The Boardman High School Spring Jazz Concert will take place at 7 p.m. Friday in the high-school cafeteria.

The performance will feature BHS Jazz Ensembles 1, 2 and 3, which are directed by Thomas Ruggieri. The talents of outgoing seniors will be highlighted during the show, according to a news release.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Senior citizens are admitted free of charge. Proceeds will benefit the Thomas A. Groth Jazz Scholarship fund.

Pizza, popcorn, soft drinks and bottled water will be available to purchase.

Those who attend are asked to enter through the gymnasium entrance on the north side of the building, 7777 Glenwood Ave.
