BASEBALL

BASKETBALL

Penn State-Behrend — plans basketball camps this summer. Day camp for boys entering grades 2-10 features two week-long sessions, June 20-24 and July 25-29. Cost is $150. The Little Dribblers camp for boys 4-8 years old is $55 and is set for July 18-21. The Grandview Overnight Camp for boys entering grades 5-12 is $295 and runs from June 26-29. Penn-Ohio Athletic Club — will host a girls K-8 and boys K-8 basketball skills camp June 20-24 at Kennedy Catholic High School in Hermitage, Pa. The girls camp will be 9 a.m.-noon. Warren Harding High School — is starting to form a girls varsity summer basketball league on Sunday nights from June 5-26. MEETINGS

The Poland High School Athletic Department — has announced a falls sports parent meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the high school auditorium. The meeting is mandatory for parents whose children will be participating in a middle school or high school fall sports. All parents should plan on attending as policies and procedures for the upcoming fall season will be discussed. The athletes do not need to attend this meeting.
