West Branch schools, teachers have new contract

BELOIT — West Branch Schools have reached an agreement on a new two-year contract between the West Branch Teachers Association and the school board. The two-year agreement will go into effect on July 1 and will continue through June 30, 2018.

The teachers agreed to an increase in their contribution to health care, going from 10 percent to 12.5 percent of the cost of the premium for health care insurance. Teachers will receive a one percent pay raise in each of the two years of the new pact.
