Claypool Lennon band at the Ledges

The Claypool Lennon Delirium, a collaboration of Primus bassist Les Claypool with Sean Lennon, the son of John and Yoko Lennon, will play at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park on June 17. The show will feature an appearance by keyboardist Bernie Worrell (Parliament-Funkadelic). The Dean Ween Group, led by Ween frontman Dean Ween, will open.

Prankster arrested for climbing sign
LOS ANGELES
A YouTube prankster has been arrested after climbing the Hollywood sign.
Los Angeles parks officials say 24-year-old Vitaly Zdorovetskiy was taken into custody after clambering up the letter “D” on Wednesday.
In video taken from atop the sign and later posted on social media, Zdorovetskiy says, “I’m all the way up, nothing can stop me.” Zdorovetskiy has more than 9 million subscribers to his YouTube channel.
Attempts to access the iconic sign are an ongoing problem for the city.
Croatian picnic

The annual picnic of the United CFU Lodges of the Mahoning-Shenango Valleys will take place from noon to 8 p.m. June 26 at the Strossmayer Picnic Grounds on state Route 193. There will be barbecued lamb and pork, pastries, apple strudel, sandwiches, chicken, kolbasi and haluski.
