Austintown Fitch High School hosted the Sounds of Spring concert for the fifth- and sixth-grade students at Austintown Intermediate School and Austintown Middle School on May 4.

The fifth-grade students at Austintown Intermediate School were the first to perform their spring time music selection. The sixth-grade Austintown Middle School students took the stage when the fifth-graders were finished. Both choirs performed six songs that brought in the feeling of Spring and the sixth-grader’s last song had a dance that went along with it choreographed by three of the students.

The choirs were under the direction of Evy Amerson and had Clay Colley as the accompanist. The students wore bright colored shirts to celebrate the colors of the spring season. The students put on a concert every year to showcase what they have been putting their hard work and dedication into.

The sixth- and seventh-graders performed their annual spring concert on May 5.
