Local members receive Toastmasters’ highest honor

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Two members of the Youngstown chapter of Toastmasters Executive 408 have received the designation of Distinguished Toastmaster, the highest honor given by the organization through its education program. This marks the first time since the chapter was chartered in January 1966 that members have achieved that designation. The two who were honored with the designation, above, are Arthur Byrd, left, and Mike Gerrick. They were honored during a Minting ceremony at the District 10 Spring Conference for Toastmasters at Malone University in Canton. The local chapter meets from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Mondays at Adamas Square, 8131 Market St., Boardman. Anyone is welcome to attend a meeting.
