Junior Fair Board events scheduled

CANFIELD

The annual Small Animal Fun Show will take place June 11 at the Canfield Fairgrounds, beginning with registration at 9 a.m. at the Junior Fair office.

The event is open to all youth from kindergarten to 18 years old from Mahoning County and surrounding counties to show pocket pets, rabbits, poultry, goats and dogs. The cost is $2 per entry and $1 to participate in showmanship.

The Junior Fair Board also will meet June 16 in the Dairy Cattle building on the fairgrounds to continue preparations for the Canfield Fair. Photographs will be taken at 6:30 p.m. in Western Reserve Village.
