Presentation set for watershed information

SALEM

Dr. Felicia P. Armstrong, associate professor of environmental science and environmental science graduate program director of the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Youngstown State University, will address “From Watershed to Tap: the Water in Our Lives.”

The presentation will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 6 at Salem Public Library, Quaker Meeting Room, 821 E. State St.

The topic will address watersheds, water recovery, how water is treated, preventative measures used to protect our health and lead incidents in community water. Attendees also will learn about water-related activities in our area and how to get involved
