Police are investigating after a 37-year-old man was found shot in the leg about 12:10 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of a 3071 Lodwick Ave. apartment complex. The victim is being treated at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Reports said the man told police he did not know what happened and was hesitant to give any information. Three women who were outside at the time told police they heard gunshots but did not see anything. The women said they were having a party in their apartment.

Witnesses told police there was a fight at the party, and the victim was one of those involved in the fight. After the gunfire, three men and a woman ran away.
