Mahoning County grand jury indicts 34
YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury Thursday indicted 34 people including Kirk R. Zents, 27, Christian Street, Hubbard, on possession of heroin.
Reports say on Apr 23. Police arrested Zents on a warrant for failure to comply with a traffic violation and on charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug-abuse instruments.

The grand jury also indicted Shawn M. Wilkinson, 35, Jeanette Drive SE, Warren, on intimidation and obstructing official business.

The grand jury also indicted Brandon Reid, 23, South Pearl Street, on improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and possession of drugs.
Reports said a van Reid was driving was pulled over on Apr. 17 in a parking lot in the 800 block of Oak Street on the East Side after an officer spotted him driving too fast.
A police dog from Poland detected drugs in the car, and officers found a 9 mm Ruger semiautomatic handgun and a clip of ammunition under the front passenger’s seat. Reports said Reid told police the gun was his and he forgot it was in the van.

The grand jury also indicted Mister Jackson, aka Floyd Royal Jr., 30, Drummond Avenue, on assault and domestic violence.
Reports said police were called about 12:20 a.m. on Apr. 20 to the 1400 block of Oak Street, where they found a woman with ripped pants bleeding from the face. The woman told police Jackson is her boyfriend, and he recently was released from the jail on an aggravated burglary charge.
