Justice for Cody to unveil cruisers emblazoned with Crime Stoppers tip line

The Hubbard Police Department, in partnership with the Justice for Cody committee, will unveil a fleet of cruisers emblazoned with the local Crime Stoppers tip line.

The March 2015 murder of Cody Pitts, 26, of Hubbard is unsolved. A coroner determined he died from a single bullet wound to the head.

City officials, including police Chief James Taafe, Mayor John Darko and Safety Director Louis Carsone, will join members of the Justice for Cody committee and the local Crime Stoppers Board of Directors, at 3:30 p.m. Friday outside the police department, 6 Elm St., to present the new cruisers.

The Justice for Cody committee is offering a $20,000 reward through Crime Stoppers for information related to the Pitts case.
