“Dancing With the Stars” (9 p.m., ABC): “Dancing With the Stars” caps off its 22nd season tonight and you know what that means: Someone is going to have to waltz off with that hideous mirror-ball trophy.

WKSU sets forum at Salem campus

WKSU continues its regional series of open forums with WKSU’s Community Conversations at the Kent State University Salem Campus on Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Attendees at the free event will be encouraged to contribute topics and issues they feel deserve increased attention. Registration can be done through an Eventbrite link on the events page at WKSU.org and is requested to reserve seating and refreshments. If unable to register online, call 330-346-5670 or email community@wksu.org.

Thursday’s event will be the sixth in a series in Northeast Ohio. It will encourage participants to present issues that concern people living in Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

WKSU news director Andrew Meyer, program director Ele Ellis and reporter/producer Tim Rudell will represent WKSU at Thursday’s open forum.

‘American Pickers’ heading to Ohio

Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team from the TV show “American Pickers” (9 p.m. Wednesdays on History Channel) will return to Ohio this summer and are looking for places to visit.

The docu-series that explores the world of antique “picking” – everything from motorcycles, classic cars and bicycles to one-of-a-kind vintage memorabilia.

Anyone who has, or knows of someone who has, a large private collection of interesting items is asked to contact the show.

Some of the types of things the crew is looking for are vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, early firefighting equipment, vintage musical equipment, automotive items and clothing.

The crew is always excited to find things it has never seen before and learn the story behind it.
